Why is there a charge on my card before I took a ride?

The first few times you request a Juno ride, you may have a pre-authorization hold for the minimum ride fare placed on your account's default payment method. As soon as your ride ends, any holds will be released and your card will only be charged the actual fare.

Depending on your payment method, it may take a few days for your bank or card issuer to process the return and for you to see the hold amount back in your account.
